These 1/6 scale bum bustles are perfectly sized for under a every-day skirt, when you want a just a little lift on the backside.
These were very popular around the late 1800 just until about 1900. By then bustles went out of style.
These have a string tie waistband.
Dressing tip: The bum bustle goes on top of a petticoat, drawers, pantaloons, or knickers. Put the skirt on first, then push it up so the bustle can be tied into place. If you make it tie just a little loose, it allows the padding to go just below the true waist. That way the figure still maintains a tiny waist size.
